The story
Every Pal comes from somewhere.
A potcake dog is a mixed-breed dog type found on several Caribbean islands including Turks and Caicos Islands and The Bahamas. Its name comes from a traditional local dish of seasoned peas and rice, from which the overcooked rice that sticks to the bottom of the cooking pot (forming the 'pot cake') was commonly fed to the dogs before we had the luxury of storebought dog food.
We have turned the beloved potcake into something you can take home. Every Potcake Pal has a local name but comes with an adoption certificate, so you rename them to make them fit into your family.
Two Pals launch first. More are already on the way.
